Celebrating the 2023 Seldin~Smith Awardee: Steven E. Mansoor, MD, PhD

Join us virtually on August 8, 1–1:30 pm Eastern, as we honor Dr. Mansoor, the recipient of the 2023 Donald Seldin~Holly Smith Award for Pioneering Research. The Award recognizes Dr. Mansoor for his contributions to understanding the basic science of ion channel structure, function, and gating.

Dr. Mansoor is Assistant Professor of Medicine, Division of Cardiovascular Medicine, and Assistant Professor of Chemical Physiology and Biochemistry, at Oregon Health & Science University School of Medicine.

Dr. Ben Humphreys, the 2023–2024 President, will introduce Dr. Mansoor, who will talk about his career path and research. John Hawley, ASCI’s Executive Director, will also present information about the upcoming 2024 nomination cycle.
