Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
The mission of the ASCI is to support the scientific efforts, educational needs, and clinical aspirations of physician-scientists to improve the health of all people. Racial injustice and discrimination in any form undermine this mission by negatively impacting safety, freedom, health equity, and opportunity for our patients, trainees, colleagues, and members.
Physician-Scientist Development
Recognizing the need to bolster retention on the physician-scientist career path, in 2020, the ASCI formed the Physician-Scientist Development Committee (PSDC) which monitors, creates, and supports programming for early-career physician-scientists.
